Tom Holland, born Thomas Stanley Holland on June 1, 1996, in Kingston upon Thames, England, is an English actor and dancer. Best known for his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Holland has established himself as one of the leading actors of his generation.

Holland’s career began on the stage, where he portrayed the titular role in "Billy Elliot the Musical" in London’s West End. His performance earned him critical acclaim and paved the way for his transition to film and television.

His breakthrough role came in 2012 when he was cast as Lucas Bennett in the disaster drama film "The Impossible," directed by J.A. Bayona.
